AAA Vision: Symposium on Industrial Applications of Advanced computer vision Algorithms
13-09-2016 :: Jan De Nayerlaan 5, 2860 Sint-Katelijne-Waver

Organizer: KULeuven, Campus De Nayer

EAVISE organises AAA Vision 2016, a symposium where academic and industrial vision & AI partners meet. The goal of this symposium is to facilitate technology transfer of newly developed intelligent computer vision algorithms towards innovative industrial applications.

We focus in this edition on two recent state-of-the-art intelligent vision applications: random bin picking for industrial robots and autonomous navigation of drones. Each of these was the topic of an intensive research project EAVISE worked on during the last two years: RAPIDO and Cametron. The results of both research projects will be presented at the symposium, as well as some success stories of the introduction of these state-of-the-art vision techniques into real industrial applications.

Also, a large collection of astounding demos will be set op at the AAA Vision 2016 symposium, both from academic researchers and innovative companies. Each will show the potential of the newest developments in image processing and artificial intelligence technology for real-life industrial situations.
