The Future of Health Technology: Digital and Life Sciences team up
25-11-2016 :: Business Faculty, Sint-Lendriksborre 6, 1120 Brussel

Organizer: DSP Valley and Flanders Bio

On November 25th, DSP Valley and FlandersBio organise a first one of a series of seminars and workshops on the potential of cross technology collaborations in the development of new (bio)medical applications. Among the many possible innovations in the health and healthcare domain, the integration between Key Enabling Technologies like biotechnology and digital technologies is deemed to be of highest benefit to the sub-domains of smart implants, (bio)medical imaging and lab-on-chip.

During the seminar, experts will give an overview of these three innovation fields, followed by three case studies presented by young and innovative companies. The seminar closes with short discussion rounds on the strengths, the opportunities but also the bottlenecks companies experience in Flanders when developing medical technologies and healthcare applications.
